Where did the time go? Another year has passed, and it’s time to extend our thanks again for allowing Copresco to share in your business success.
Copresco began 2004 on a fast track. Fulfilling our New Year’s resolution to give you even better imaging quality, we installed four Imagerunner digital presses. Selection of the Imagerunner followed a year of testing and evaluation. We concluded that the system would produce unprecedented quality under Copresco’s watchful eye and highly innovative production management techniques.
The rave reviews we have received from you confirmed our diagnosis. As we did with the docutech, we have found more ways to improve the quality and accuracy of this new digital press. This ensures that Copresco will maintain our position of leadership in digital technology, while we widen the gap over the competition.
We also
promised you more efficiency and accuracy in handling of your digital files and
better archiving of your jobs, while maintaining our reputation for extremely
fast turnaround.
To achieve these goals, we have
initiated a massive program to completely upgrade our workflow, from estimating
and scheduling through production and shipping. The expansion of our PDF
workflow capabilities and an enhanced internet files transfer
system that offers e-mail simplicity and FTP reliability are important
aspects of this ongoing program. We will continue these efforts to improve our
workflow, while taking advantage of the latest developments in digital
on-demand technology.

fact-filled FAQ series
in Overnight Lite, which
concludes in our January
issue. Along with other important news and views, we continued to provide
URLs for helpful websites in the newsletter.
We picked
up more awards from graphic
arts, technical and business communications organizations. Two of our customers
were delighted to learn that their digital color jobs received awards for
printing excellence. Our customer communications program received multiple
awards.
Copresco’s practical website won an
award of excellence for the
sixth straight year for its extensive resources and user-friendly
accessibility.
Recognition as a Quick
Print Giant and a
Top 100 Printer in North
America rounded out the new acquisitions for our trophy case. In related
industry news, Copresco
president Steve Johnson joined the
editorial staff of American
Printer magazine on a regular basis.
The awards, recognition and visibility in professional graphic arts media confirm Copresco’s commitment to incorporating advanced digital technology with excellent quality and service and top-notch communications.
