Copresco has been honored with two
Achievement in Print Excellence Awards by the Printing Industry of Illinois/
Indiana Association.
The Carol Stream, Ill. digital printer received
a Best of Category Pinnacle award for a four-color calendar and a Certificate
of Merit for a looseleaf brand education manual.
Both jobs were

management quality control tools to assure optimum reproduction.

"We are well known for our achievements in black and white on-demand
printing," says Copresco president Steve Johnson. "In
recent years, we have made giant strides in bringing the same quality standards
to high-end digital color
work. These awards quantify the efforts we have made to improve the quality of
digital color for the printing industry."
The wall calendar, which
serves as a technical visual aide in ophthalmologists' offices, contains
medical photos of the eye that had to be reproduced with acute accuracy and
color rendition. The print run included two versions of the saddle stitched
piece.
The distributor training manual, produced for a Chicago
advertising agency, required precise reproduction of high resolution product
photos as well as tight registration of graphics and text.
