Steve Johnson, president and CEO of Copresco, has joined Quick
Printing magazine as a featured columnist. His "Johnson's World" column
provides firsthand observations and thoughtful commentary about the state of
today's graphic communications industry.

An executive with more than 34 years of experience
in the graphic communications field, Johnson has extensive skills in business
management, marketing and sales. He co-founded Copresco, a pioneer in digital
printing technology and printing on-demand, in 1987.
Johnson is a
founding member of the Digital Printing Council of the Printing Industries of
America, served as a director of the Printing Industry of Illinois/Indiana
Association and is a senior member of the Society for Technical Communication.
He has been active as an author, consultant and speaker on a variety
of business and technological topics for the graphic and technical
communications industries and served as a columnist for American Printer
magazine for seven years. He has won numerous awards for publications
excellence, marketing communications, newsletter editing and website creation
and development.
He currently serves on the College of DuPage,
Illinois, graphic arts technology advisory committee, and the graphic advisory
council of the Technology Center of DuPage.

since 1991, Johnson has served on the board of directors and has been active in
international service, vocational, youth exchange and youth leadership training
programs, and literacy projects. He was honored as the club's Rotarian of the
Year in 1999. He also serves as an Elder of Southminster Presbyterian Church,
Glen Ellyn, Illinois.
