Copies Overnight, Inc. has
installed a Docucolor 40 digital color printer at its
Carol Stream,
Ill. plant.
"The laser system surpasses any digital device on the
market and further expands our on-demand printing capabilities," says
president Steve Johnson.
The Docucolor system is powered by a Scitex SX3000 digital front end
RIP. Text and images are handled separately to ensure crisp copy and art
reproduction.
The color system is linked to Copies Overnight's PC and
Macintosh work stations through a digital network.
The digital printing
firm also operates five Docutech network publishing
systems, including three 6180 models.
The company specializes in
high-speed digital printing and distribution of looseleaf and bound technical
documents for general business, printing trade, technical and institutional
clients.
Copies Overnight recently won a
first place award in the
Print On-Demand Innovation Leadership competition and was recognized as the
number one digital printer
in the country by Quick Printing magazine. In May, 1999, the company
moved into a new 14,000 sq. ft.
plant.
