A website created and maintained by Copresco for the Plumbing and
Mechanical Contractors Association of Northern Illinois (PAMCANI) has
won a third consecutive APEX Award of Excellence for Web and Internet
site content.
The www.pamcani.org
website was honored for its substantial content, easy accessibility and
overall communications excellence.
The fast-loading site serves as an important communications vehicle for
Association members and the general public, says Georgiana Kipp,
executive director of the Downers Grove-based association. Visitors can
order a free "Care & Repair" guide which offers helpful hints about
heating, cooling and plumbing systems for home and business owners.
A For Teachers link contains resources for physics and physical science
teachers, teacher training workshops and classroom presentations and
information on careers in the mechanical industry. Winners of the
Association's poster contest for children in grades three through six
are also featured.
Awards in the annual APEX competition for communications professionals
are based on the quality of creative ideas and concepts displayed
rather than the expenses involved in producing the entries.
A digital on-demand printer of publications, books and manuals,
Copresco has expanded its advanced technology services into the
development and maintenance of technically-oriented websites. The
company is headquartered in Carol Stream, Ill.
