Copies Overnight Receives Second Premier Print Award

Copies Overnight has received a Premier Print Award from the Printing Industries of America.

The Carol Stream firm won the award in the black and highlight color digital printing category for producing The AT Financial User Manual. The awards program is known throughout the graphic arts industry as the most prestigious competition honoring excellence in print.

In sending his congratulations to Copies Overnight, PIA president Ray Roper said: "This outstanding achievement is testimony to the quality of work produced by your company."

The Certificate of Merit is the second PIA award Copies Overnight has received in the past two years. In 1996, the firm received a "Benny" in the black and white digital printing category for a 168-page case bound book.

"Once again we are extremely pleased to be recognized in national competition for our work in the technical documentation field," said Copies Overnight president Steve Johnson. "The award reflects the dedication to quality we maintain for all our clients."

The financial manual comprises 282 pages of text and graphics. The black and white pages were imaged on a Xerox Docutech 135. The spot color portion was imaged on a Canon CLC 800. The completed books blocks were then perfect bound with covers furnished by the customer.

Copies Overnight specializes in on-demand printing and distribution of looseleaf and bound technical documents for general business, printing trade, technical and institutional clients.
