Copies Overnight, Inc., Carol
Stream, Ill., has been named one of the Top 50 Fastest Growing Printers by
American
Printer magazine.
The awards program was open to printing companies
throughout the world who have been in business for at least four years and had
sales exceeding $1 million last year. Copies Overnight's sales, on a steady
rise since its inception in 1987, topped the $2 million mark in 1995,
representing a 46 percent increase in the past three years.
Jill Roth,
American Printer editorial director, said the company's rapid move to the top
was an impressive achievement requiring commitment, imagination, innovative
management practices and perseverance. "This is particularly meaningful since
it was done during generally flat general economic growth," she added.
Along with sales growth, award nominees are judged on profitability,
customer service, quality management and factors that differentiate them from
their competitors.
"We are extremely pleased to receive this honor and
recognition as a leader in our field," said
Steve Johnson, Copies
Overnight president. "We work hard to meet the needs of our customers with
advanced digital technology and specialized printing on-demand services."
The Top 50 award is the third recognition honor Copies Overnight has
received in the past year. Others include the Vendor of
the Year award by Videojet Systems International, Inc., Wood Dale, Ill.,
and a best overall performance rating from Richard D. Irwin, Burr Ridge, Ill.
Copies Overnight specializes in on-demand printing and distribution of
looseleaf and bound technical documents for general business, printing trade,
technical and institutional clients.
