Copies Overnight, Inc. has received a Top of the Class award from the
Printing Industries of America for the ongoing educational development of its
staff.
The award designates Copies
Overnight as a 1997 Education Company for participating in three
consecutive years of PIA educational programs.
"The goal of this program
is to encourage superior customer service through the professional development
of your staff. Your investment in educational enrichment identifies your
company as an advocate for learning, growth and the future of the printing
industry," said Mary Garnett, PIA director of education and
training.
"Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and new technology is
essential in our rapidly changing digital printing field," said company
president Steve Johnson. "We are pleased to be recognized for our continuing
staff training and development efforts."
Copies Overnight is active in
other PIA educational programs. Johnson is a member of the Digital
Communications Project Team. The national task force is helping printers make
the transition to digital printing. He is also a member of PIA's sales and
marketing advisory council and an advisory editor for the organization's
national newsletter dealing with digital technology topics.
The firm has
also received two PIA Premier
Print Awards within the last two years. The awards program is known
throughout the graphic arts industry as the most prestigious competition
honoring excellence in print.
Copies Overnight specializes in on-demand
printing and distribution of looseleaf and bound technical documents for
general business, printing trade, technical and institutional clients. The
