Copresco Wins Two More APEX Awards

Copresco has won two APEX 2003 awards for publications excellence, including a Grand Award for its corporate website.

The Grand Award was one of only five presented in the For Profit category. Only 100 Grand Awards were presented in the competition which attracted nearly 5,000 entries. This is the fifth consecutive APEX award for the digital printer's practical and user-friendly website.

Judges praised the website Copresco developed and maintains as an: "Extremely effective site--a superb customer and employee communications tool. Extensive resources and first-rate newsletters on publishing techniques pack the site. Outstanding."

The www.copresco.com website was also honored with a Grand Award in 2001.

Overnight Lite, the company's monthly newsletter, received an Award of Excellence in the Most Improved category. The four-color publication, printed on Copresco's digital color equipment, offers a blend of tasteful humor with company news and technical information on digital technology and printing on-demand. In 2002, the newsletter won a Grand Award for a digital color customer survey.

Since 1998 when Copresco began entering the APEX competition, the company has won 13 Awards of Excellence, including the three Grand Awards.

Awards in the annual APEX competition for communications professionals are based on excellence in editorial content, graphic design and the success of the entry in achieving overall communications effectiveness and excellence. Judges consider the quality of creative ideas and concepts displayed rather than the expenses involved in producing the entries.

Copresco specializes in digital on-demand printing of publications, books and manuals for clients in the general business, printing trade, technical and institutional fields. The company is headquartered in Carol Stream, Ill.
