Space Tripled With Move to New 14,000 sq. ft. Plant

Copies Overnight has moved to a new 14,000 sq. ft. plant at 262 Commonwealth Drive in Carol Stream, Ill.

"We have nearly three times more space to meet customer demands for larger production runs of millions of impressions. Space was needed for expansion of all departments as we made our fifth move in less than 12 years," says president Steve Johnson.

The new building houses the company's five high-speed Docutech publishing systems, a new Docucolor system and support services. Bindery, index tab, document finishing and shipping departments have been significantly expanded. Truck dock facilities have been doubled.

"The move allows us to add new equipment now and in the future and to further expand our three-shift digital printing services," Johnson explained. "We have also upgraded our computer and telephone systems to assure Y2K compliance."

Copies Overnight will maintain its 5,000 sq. ft. Distribution Center adjacent to the new plant. The Center provides space for the inventory of customers' printed materials.

Copies Overnight specializes in on-demand printing and distribution of technical documents for general business, printing trade, technical and institutional clients.

Copies Overnight recently won a first place award in the Print On-Demand Innovation Leadership competition and was recognized as the number one digital printer in the country by Quick Printing magazine.
